Program Description

Amibook is the organizer you've been looking for. You can easily manage your time and contacts with it's one-screen access to your address book, appointment book, and task list, letting you manage your time. Don't let your time manage you! Amibook has a modern, intuitive interface with views that you select so you use it your way, and an extensive help system with context sensitive help available everywhere. As a contact manager, Amibook keeps track of phone numbers, e-mail addresses, web page URLs, and address information for your contacts, who can be in one or more groups. You can preview and print out address books and envelopes for all the people in an address book, or only those contacts you select. It will even include the return address on envelopes. Amibook is also able to dial phone numbers for you at the click of a button, jump to a web site, or open your e-mail program ready to send mail to the person or people selected by you. As a personal organizer, Amibook keeps track of your appointment book and tasks. You can set an alarm to go off up to one hour before an appointment is scheduled. Tasks are assigned a priority, and can be marked completed when finished. Any uncompleted tasks continue to show up on your daily calendar. You are able to preview and print out calendars for the day, the week, and the month. Tasks and appointments can be scheduled to happen one time only, or be recurring events. If you wish to import or export to other programs, you may do so with delimited text files. You determine the delimiter, format, and content of these files through a wizard-based import/export process. Amibook also imports your Windows(R) Address Book (so you no longer have to worry about worms and viruses using it to spread themselves), and other Amibook databases.
