Business Accounts is a computerised accounting and bookkeeping system for UK businesses. Powerful software that is as user-friendly as Sage used to be! Business Accounts has all of the standard accounting features you would expect from a computerised bookkeeping system, with additional features such as client standing orders and automated credit control. You can store full details of your Clients on the system including names and up to four telephone numbers. Each client's ledger shows what that client owes you at any time. As invoices are recorded, the client balances will increase; when you record receipts from clients, the balances will reduce. The software's credit control feature lets you track unpaid invoices and assess what action to take based on how long invoices have been overdue. For example, you can tell the system to send a statement to a client when an invoice is a set number of days past its due date. The system can be used to maintain a complete history of correspondence and telephone calls between you and the client that can prove very useful if you have to resort to court proceedings. Statements, reminders and final reminders can all be customised to your own layout. You can store full details of your Suppliers on the system. Each supplier's ledger shows what you owe that supplier at any time. As invoices are recorded, the supplier balances will increase; when you record payments to suppliers, the balances will reduce. Create Reminders for anything you can think of. Link them to Clients and Suppliers. Create a reminder as a one-off or have it repeat on a weekly, monthly, annual or any other frequency. The software will let you know when the reminder becomes due so that you can take action on it.
