Power Siphon is a high performance web spider which enables you to download web sites or any web content that you specify and save it on your hard drive for off-line use. Downloading an entire web site is as easy as providing the URL of the home page or any other starting page. You can watch the progress of the download in real time and then access all of the content off-line from your hard drive. You may also compress downloaded content into a single self-extracting EXE file for additional portability or distribution. Power Siphon also features its own viewer which allows you to view your downloaded content in unique ways such as with a slide show mode. This is automatically included in any EXE files you create and can be distributed on a royalty-free basis. Power Siphon is highly configurable and may be used for many different purposes. You may use either built-in wizards which gather the essential information for specific tasks or you can customize dozens of different settings on your own. Use the search engine research assistant to download search engine results and retain only those that truly match your search criteria. You may then review the content at lightning speed from your hard drive at your convenience with or without an Internet connection. Also features Microsoft Access compatible database support, spell checking, indexing, the ability to create your own personal search engine, and a COM interface allowing complete automation of most program features.
